Hey! Guess what. Yesterday I ran (ok, jogged) in a 10k race. And: I got my personal best time! Ok, you got me there, too. I've never jogged 10k before so this of course has to be my personal best. My time was 1:28:32, which admittedly was more than some of the 10k walkers.
I am really sore today.
In other news, I finished another goal on my May list. Hurray!
- Quilt or sew 10 minutes a day
- Finish the baby quilt - done!
- Sew 10 pillowcases for the guild service project - done!
- Create a sewing basket and little project book for my niece who is turning seven near Memorial Day.
- Remove the binding from The Girl's quilt. Note the goal does not include rebinding! Done!
Unfortunately for the May goals, I am probably not going to keep attempting 10 minutes a day. I've missed it many times now and I've got a new goal: potentially selling our house. I've asked for some time off to try and whip some stuff in to shape for this purpose. We'll see how that goes. Wish us luck!
Good for you! That's quite an undertaking. I'm sure you'll feel fatigued for a day or so.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you have a quick sale to your home!
ReplyDeleteHey, congratulations! I could walk 10 K...
