ding ding ding!

Yesterday was my first weigh-in day.  I decided to weigh myself once a week, starting from New Year's day so that makes Tuesday the scale day.  

Guess what!

I lost a pound.  At least, I think I did.  It is really hard to read our scale.  But the needle is definitely at least a pound shy of where it was last week.  Hurray!  Who knew that not eating like a pig would have an impact?


  1. Congrat's! :) I'm trying to shed a few this year too - I gained 25 pounds with both of my pregnancies, and never lost it! The weight has really started to cause me all sorts of troubles, so here's hoping we can stick it out and reach our goals! :)

  2. I too have been on a weight loss journey. It didn't take overnight to gain the weight, so I try not to be discouraged when it doesn't come off overnight! At least that is what I try to tell myself! Congrats on your weight loss - every little adds up!

  3. You lost a pound? I think I found it! I gained it for you by having too many holiday chocolates. Off to my stairmaster now...thanks for keeping us healthy minded!

    After holidays and cold weather, my focus is more like on food lately... I got to do something about it.

    If I want to be sure I have the right number on my scale I have to bring my magnifier glasses in the bathroom, LOL.

  6. 1 pound is good...I lost 1 pound this week too. My goal is 2 but I will take the 1!!
